The Pole
Most evenings on the way home I listen to public radio, specifically a news show called the The World. One of the features of this show is a geographical quiz. Today it was pretty simple, asking about something in the north that moves about 25 miles a year. Obviously to me, it was the North Pole. That wandering point in the world that guides people roughly north.
Once the answer was told, I got to wondering that for all I've read and heard about the North Pole moving, I've never heard anything about the South Pole. It almost has to move, but it does it move in direct relation to the North Pole?
Well, of course it does. But why isn't it ever mentioned like the North Pole?
